Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Temporary Equipment Operator in Wisconsin. You will operate printing press equipment, perform regular maintenance, prepare inks, check papers and plates, and ensure quality throughout runs.

You will coordinate with the Production Team to meet deadlines and maintain safety standards. The role requires reading job instructions, strong math and mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand job instructions and specifications.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Physically able to move up to 25+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper for correct type, size, color, and quantity.
• Check plates for correct format.
• Visually inspect forms throughout the run to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs and reorganize work as needed to meet changing deadlines and priorities.
• Maintain knowledge of and follow all safety requirements for the job and equipment.
