Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Temporary Equipment Operator to join our hands-on production team. You will prepare and operate printing press equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure color accuracy and quality throughout the run.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow job instructions. Shift is 7:00 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday, with safety as a priority and opportunities to grow with our long-standing printing company.

Qualifications

• Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and understand job instructions and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper for correct type, size, color, and quantity.
• Check plates for correct format.
• Visually inspect forms throughout the run to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs and reorganize work as needed to meet changing deadlines and priorities.
• Maintain knowledge of and follow all safety requirements for the job and equipment.
