Taylor Corporation, through The Occasions Group, is hiring a temporary Equipment Operator to join the Sunman, IN facility. You will operate printing press equipment, set inks, check material specs, and help maintain quality standards on each job.

Qualifications

• High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Good reading ability and ability to follow specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to operate printing equipment.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with the Production Team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment per job specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency; check paper type, size and quantity.
• Check plates for correct format and visually inspect forms for quality during runs.
• Coordinate with Production Team to prioritize jobs and meet deadlines; follow safety requirements.
