Stratford School Milpitas is seeking a Multi-Classroom Floater Teacher to provide day-to-day instructional support across Preschool–Pre-K classrooms. You will report to the campus each morning, follow established lesson plans, supervise students, and help maintain a safe, nurturing environment for our early learners.

This developmental role prepares you for a future Classroom Teacher position and offers growth opportunities within Spring Education Group. Location: Milpitas, CA.

Qualifications

• 12 ECE semester units (or 18 quarter units) with listed coursework.
• OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Child Development.
• Prior preschool experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; flexible and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom coverage in Preschool–Pre-K as needed.
• Follow established lesson plans or create long-term assignments.
• Supervise and engage children for safety and well-being.
• Support daily classroom routines including naps and snacks.
• Assist with toileting and diaper changes as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming classroom.
• Communicate professionally with students, staff, and families.
• Assist with administrative or campus-wide tasks as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

About the Role:

The Multi-Classroom Teacher provides day-to-day instructional support across multiple Preschool and Pre-K classrooms at our Stratford School campus.

Each morning, you will report to the campus and receive your assignment based on coverage needs. In addition to classroom teaching, you may support with general student supervision or assist the Principal with campus operations. This position plays a vital role in maintaining instructional continuity and a safe, nurturing environment for our students.

This Multi-Classroom Floater Teacher position is designed as a developmental role, intended to prepare candidates for a future Classroom Teacher position. It is expected that individuals in this position will actively work toward and be prepared for placement in a Classroom Teacher role as openings become available.

Location: 125 N. Milpitas Blvd Milpitas, CA 95035
Hourly Pay Range: $26.00 - $29.00
Status: Full-Time, Monday–Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm
Travel: May be required to support nearby Stratford campuses
