Job summary

Ingenuity Prep is a high-performing public charter school in Ward 8, DC, serving Pre-K through Middle School. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will deliver developmentally appropriate literacy, math, and SEL instruction, with two teachers per classroom and a strong emphasis on play-based learning and structured practice.

You will collaborate with teams, use data to inform planning, and build strong relationships with families while upholding an outcomes-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Teacher Certification (or enrollment in an alternative program) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver standards-aligned instruction in early literacy, math, and SEL.
• Plan daily lessons with clear objectives and checks for understanding.
• Deliver instruction across whole-group, small-group, and centers with differentiation.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and special education staff for coherent support.
