Job summary

Ericson Manufacturing Company designs and manufactures temporary power, lighting, and electrical safety equipment for commercial and industrial construction. This hands-on role focuses on electro-mechanical production assembly, wiring components, and testing finished products to meet NEC standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED plus related assembly experience.
Ability to read electrical/mechanical blueprints and instructions.
Experience with panel wiring and conduit installation.
Capable of following written and verbal work orders precisely.
Shop math skills and safe, accurate use of tools.

Responsibilities

Install components, subassemblies, and wiring to NEC standards.
Troubleshoot defects by repairing or replacing electrical parts.
Use hand/power tools and test equipment to complete tasks.
Drill, tap, and punch mounting holes; align parts for wiring.
Interpret diagrams and reports to plan materials and steps.
Enter labor time and quantities into ERP system.
