Job summary

EnerSys is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join its EnerSys Energy Systems manufacturing team. The role focuses on assembling components per drawings and specifications in a plant/warehouse environment, with emphasis on quality and traceability.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years in a related role, wiring and crimping experience, and the ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings. The position may require varied schedules and PPE usage in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a related role.
• Wiring and crimping experience.
• Ability to follow wiring schematics.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble final and subassemblies using work instructions and schematics.
• Inspect own work and others to reduce defects and ensure quality.
• Identify differences in electronic or mechanical components.
• Work proficiently in multiple assembly areas as needed.
• Demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude and crimping ability.
• Participate in cross-training of processes as assigned.
• Read and interpret bills of materials and schematics.
• Record production and traceability information accurately.
