Job summary

Providence Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA seeks a Phlebotomist under supervision to perform specimen collection, processing and data entry. This position supports retrieving lab results for physicians and confidential record handling in a patient-centered environment.

It is a temporary full-time role with 40 hours weekly and variable shifts. Required are a high school diploma and Washington certifications; prior customer service experience is valued in a care-focused team.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution.
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification, or
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
• 1 year customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection, processing, data entry, receiving and logging phone orders, retrieving lab results for physicians or their representatives, and report sorting and filing.
• Control and management of confidential information and documents.
• Specimen collection for blood samples will be restricted to venous or capillary access.
