Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Pharmacy MSS Facility Tech to support pharmacists in preparing, dispensing and distributing medications. This fast-paced role includes inventory control and customer service, with training provided and no patient contact.

Shift is Monday through Friday, with options for 4x10-hr or 5x8-hr schedules. Open to both registered and certified pharmacy technicians through PTCB or NHA.

Qualifications

• LIC-Pharmacy Technician - Tennessee
• Open to Registered Pharmacy Technicians or Certified Pharmacy Technicians through PTCB or NHA.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing and/or distribution of medications.
• Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.
• Performs activities as directed by Pharmacists and/or Pharmacy Managers in accordance with laws and hospital policies.
• Delivers outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
• Operates computer systems and utilizes technology.
