Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking an HR professional to support staffing, recruit, prescreen applicants, and coordinate orientation sessions in a fast paced retail environment.

You will partner with store and department management, maintain personnel files and attendance records, support HR, Payroll and Benefits, and ensure compliance with all laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, associate relations, or related field preferred.
• Experience supporting HR functions in a fast-paced retail or service environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of HR processes, compliance requirements, and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store and Department Management to plan staffing needs and manage full-cycle recruitment.
• Conduct interviews, prescreen applicants, and coordinate orientation sessions.
• Represent the company at local recruiting events and job fairs.
• Maintain accurate personnel files, time and attendance records, and process associate data changes.
• Serve as liaison between store associates and HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams.
• Assist with performance management, leaves of absence, and compliance documentation.
• Support scheduling processes and operational programs.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.

What You Add To The Team

• Abilities: Manage multiple tasks effectively. Build relationships across teams and with external partners. Represent the company professionally at events.
• Educational requirements: 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, associate relations, or related field preferred.
• Travel requirements: Occasional local travel for recruiting events and job fairs.
• Other requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
