Temporary, Part-Time Finance Instructors - (Unsolicited) | Millersville University

Department: Accounting and Finance • Nature of Position: Temporary, part-time

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person undergraduate finance courses, including delivering lectures, creating assessments, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Engage in scholarship and service commensurate with the assignment.
• Contribute to academic and professional student development.

Qualifications

• Required: Master’s Degree in Finance or related discipline.
• For those with an MBA or other Master’s level business degree, must have a relevant professional certification (CFP, CFA, FRM, CMA, CPA, etc.) and relevant business experience.
• Evidence of ability to teach diverse student populations and strong oral/written/interpersonal communication skills.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Successful interview and teaching demonstration for class assignments.
• Successful completion of three background checks.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD or ABD in Finance or related discipline.
• Additional professional certification (CFP, CFA, FRM, CMA, CPA, etc.) and business experience.
• Prior college-level teaching experience.

Job Details
