Job summary

Join HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC as a Temporary Registered Dietitian at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. This role offers a pay rate of $35/hour, negotiable based on experience, and is part-time at 24 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed per state regulations.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Provide education on nutritional needs to patients and staff.
• Document patient assessments and nutritional goals in medical records.
• Communicate with physicians about patients’ nutritional status.
• Manage therapeutic diets and supplements as per physician orders.

Location: Jackson Purchase Medical Center

Pay Rate: Hourly - Hourly Plan, 35.00 USD

Hourly Work Shift: Job Description

We’re looking for a friendly, compassionate leader to join our culinary team! Guide patients, families, and facility staff on all aspects of medical nutrition therapy to create a healthy and healing environment. Build relationships with physicians and nurses to support patient satisfaction and achieve quality care that meets each patient’s nutritional needs.

Temporary Registered Dietitian at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY

Starting rate: $35/hour (Negotiable based on experience)

24 hours/week

Anticipated coverage period: Starting in January 2027 for 8-12 weeks

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions using evidence-based practices for both inpatient and outpatient care
• Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs
• Document assessment of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patients’ nutritional status
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements
• Attend patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field

• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software
