Student Testing Services administers credit-by-exam and placement exams to students admitted to UT Austin. Each weekday, hours will be between 7am-5pm, depending upon scheduled exams. Daily start time is somewhat flexible between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.
The responsibilities of the position will include intake tasks to support the daily operations of Student Testing Services. Including all check-in procedures, ID and exam verification, as well as ensuring a professional exam administration experience.

Typical workday will begin at 7 a.m. on testing days. Testing takes place between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., depending upon scheduled exams.
Regular staff who have been employed in their current position for the last six continuous months are eligible for openings being recruited for through University-Wide or Open Recruiting, to include both promotional opportunities and lateral transfers. Staff who are promotion/transfer eligible may apply for positions without supervisor approval.
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
A criminal history background check will be required for finalist(s) under consideration for this position.
