Job summary

Lactalis US Yogurt, Inc. in Brattleboro, VT is seeking a meticulous Packager to ensure quality and accurate movement of yogurt products from the filler line to the prep area.

The temporary role operates on a 6p-6a rotating shift with an hourly wage of $18.50 plus shift differential. You will work with a collaborative team to package yogurt containers, maintain safety standards, and support oncoming shifts for a smooth line run.

Qualifications

• Maintain food safety and quality through completing tasks and keeping the area sanitary.
• Wear food safety/sanitation clothing as required.
• Conform to personal hygiene regulations when on site.
• Report food safety problems to authorized personnel.
• Keep programs documented and up to date.

Responsibilities

• Work on the assigned line to assist with packaging yogurt containers by machine and/or hand packing.
• Uphold quality, safety and cleanliness standards in designated areas.
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Set up the oncoming shift for a successful run.
• Perform duties to support the team as needed.
• Attend pre-shift tailgate meetings to obtain necessary information.
• Monitor equipment operation for signs of problems and improvement opportunities.
• Trained to operate a pallet jack.
