Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine LLC in Riverside, CA is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant for a temporary, PRN role with hours Monday–Friday 8am–5pm. You will perform clinical and administrative tasks to support our occupational medicine clinic, including vital signs, patient education, billing assistance, and patient inquiries.

The position requires a high school diploma (medical assisting program preferred) and CMA/RMA certification preferred; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification as CMA or RMA preferred.
• Experience as a medical assistant is preferred.
• Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling appointments, manage patient records, and assist with billing and coding.
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Verify insurance coverage and process claims.
• Perform basic clinical tasks like taking vital signs and administering medications.
• Assist with drug testing, physical evaluations, blood draws, and other clinical duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in back office and exam rooms.
• Provide patient education and address questions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support clinic operations.
• Assist with medical procedures as needed.
