Maravai LifeSciences is hiring a Temporary Manufacturing Associate I, RNA Reagents to join our production team in a fast‑paced, quality‑driven environment. You will set up, clean, operate, and maintain equipment and perform enzymatic reactions and purification steps, while documenting actions in batch records.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a scientific field and 1–3 years of lab manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant manufacturing laboratory experience.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Experience with executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Experience in a quality regulated environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for production by reviewing production schedule, studying specifications, and gathering materials.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment by following SOPs.
  • Keep equipment operating; troubleshoot breakdowns and call for repairs as needed.
  • Document production by completing batch records and logs per good documentation practices.
  • Receive materials and maintain organization of laboratory inventory.
  • Operate within the ERP system.
  • Support training opportunities and perform other duties as required.

Your next role as a Miracle Maker

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our manufacturing team as a Temporary Manufacturing Associate I, RNA Reagents . As a Temporary Manufacturing Associate I, RNA Reagents, you will produce research grade components and products by setting-up, cleaning, operating , and maintaining equipment; performing enzymatic reactions; utilizing purification systems, authoring and implementing SOPs, and documenting action in batch records.

  • Prepares for production by reviewing production schedule; studying and clarifying specifications; calculating requirements; assembling materials and supplies
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by following standard operating procedures
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; calling for repairs
  • Documents production by accurately completing forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment and batches following good documentation practices
  • Receives materials, parts and supplies and maintains organization of laboratory inventory.
  • Operates within ERP system.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities
  • Perform other functions and duties as required

The skills and experience that you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific field, preferably Molecular Biology or Biochemistry
  • 1-3 years of relevant manufacturing laboratory experience
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, and stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Experience with executing Standard Operating Procedures
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience working in a Quality regulated environment a plus

The anticipated salary range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
