Company Overview: Multifamily Property Management

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining apartment homes, buildings, and grounds. Duties include repairing flooring, drywall, appliances; troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, safety, security, HVAC systems; painting; and cleaning. All tasks must comply with company policies and safety protocols, supporting client expectations within the operating budget and management agreements.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Relations: Ensure property operations align with owner expectations and objectives.
2. General Maintenance: Follow maintenance programs, conduct inspections, assist with safety and maintenance protocols, and serve as on-call emergency support.
3. Unit Turnover: Inspect and repair vacant apartments, coordinate painting and appliance changes, and ensure timely turnovers.
4. Equipment and Systems Maintenance: Repair community equipment, maintain inventory, secure tools and parts, and keep maintenance areas organized and safe.
5. Other Duties: Enforce community rules, comply with housing laws, maintain professional appearance and conduct, and demonstrate excellent customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in similar roles, preferably in residential property management, hotel maintenance, or facilities maintenance.
• High School diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
• Ability to wear a respirator and meet medical fitness requirements.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Own tools may be required.
