Our community is looking for a Facility Operations Assistant to join our team.

Facility Operations Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, guests, and team members.
• Perform routine maintenance to address service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartments, equipment, and vehicles efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Routine maintenance duties may include fixing wall or floor coverings, repairing furniture and fixtures, basic plumbing, minor electrical repairs, appliance repairs, painting, and refurbishing.
• Support the execution of the preventative maintenance program.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, refrigeration, motors, fans, electrical systems, and emergency generators.
• Perform carpet and hard surface floor maintenance.
• Conduct deep cleaning and prepare rooms as assigned.
• Participate in Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness evacuation procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Technical school education preferred
• At least one (1) year of maintenance and/or housekeeping experience
• Basic technical knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and code compliance
• Mechanical ability to perform routine repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment
• Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, and safety regulations
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently
