Job summary

Lawyers on Demand is seeking a temporary litigation paralegal in Dallas, TX to support two attorneys on mass tort matters from initial case development through resolution. The assignment lasts 3–6 months with potential conversion to direct hire for the right candidate. Start ASAP.

Pay rate is $30–$40/hr, commensurate with experience. Ideal candidates have mass tort experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced defense firm

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience
• Paralegal certificate or associate or bachelor’s degree
• Experience supporting mass tort litigation strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and other team members

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive litigation support to two attorneys
• Assist with defense-side mass tort matters and related case management
• Draft, format, and proofread pleadings, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Coordinate document collection, review, organization, and production
• Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and litigation databases
• Assist with deposition, hearing, mediation, and trial preparation
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and vendors
• Perform additional administrative and litigation support duties as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive litigation support to two attorneys
