Qualifications

• Six+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting.
• In-depth understanding of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and relevant federal rules.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw, PACER/ECF, and E-File Texas.
• Familiarity with Trial Director and e-discovery platforms (preferred).
• Strong internet research and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work overtime, including evenings/weekends during trial prep.

Responsibilities

• Draft and format shell discovery responses, correspondence, and pleading shells.
• Prepare hearing and trial notebooks.
• Manage and maintain calendaring of court deadlines, hearings, and discovery obligations.
• E-file documents in state and federal courts using E-File Texas and PACER/ECF.
• Conduct cite checking and Bluebooking (preferred).
• Assist with trial preparation and provide hot seat trial support (highly preferred).
• Coordinate with attorneys and vendors regarding e-discovery and trial exhibits.
• Perform internet and legal research using Westlaw and other platforms.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess extensive knowledge of state and federal court procedures. This position requires a strong grasp of discovery protocols under the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure (TRCP), excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities
