State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma or GED. Must complete agency's defensive driving course with a passing grade and pass a drug test.
Additional Requirements: Knowledge of safety practices, laundering tasks, institutional linen handling procedures, and automated sewing operations. Skill in operating and caring for automated sewing equipment. Ability to keep accurate records and communicate effectively.
Essential Position: Must be able to work any shift, stay over if necessary, work in lock quarters, lift over 50 lbs., be mobile, and work around youth without restrictions. This position involves contact with youth and requires training provided by the agency.
