Qualifications

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
• In-depth knowledge of laboratory safety and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in budgeting and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily laboratory operations, ensuring safety and protocol compliance.
• Maintain mammalian cell cultures and assist with DNA damage and repair experiments.
• Perform DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, Western blotting, and related assays.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, records, and sample inventories.
• Manage laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment; assist with troubleshooting.
• Assist with budgets, purchasing, and resource management.
• Train high school, undergraduate, and graduate researchers in techniques and safety.
• Coordinate sample submission to core facilities and collaborators.
• Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data with reproducible records.
• Apply quantitative approaches to improve design, data collection, and workflows.
