Job summary

The University of Louisville Center for Predictive Medicine is seeking a Temporary Research Technician I for a part-time, fixed-term position. The role involves designing, executing, and controlling laboratory research studies with strong computer skills and time management ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Two or more years of research experience preferred.
• Documented experience with laboratory animals, especially rodents may be required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and execution of research experiments.
• Independently perform data acquisition and collect, collate, and analyze research data.
• Prepare data for publication and draft research papers and technical reports.
• Conduct literature reviews and assist in preparing reports and manuscripts for publication.
• Review and revise laboratory policies and procedures.
• Contribute to planning and development of goals for the research project and laboratory.
• Other related duties as assigned.
