Pace Analytical Services, LLC in East Longmeadow, MA is seeking a Lab Technician for a temporary 3- to 4-month assignment. Shifts are Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with compensation at $18.00 per hour.

You will support scientists by preparing water and soil samples, follow established procedures, handle solvents, and maintain documentation in our environmental testing laboratory. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and lab experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, standing for long periods, and wearing PPE.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support scientists by preparing water and soil samples prior to analysis.
• Follow established sample preparation procedures.
• Work with solvents and chemicals for sample preparation.
• Maintain and update documentation and databases.

• Work with various solvents and chemicals for the preparation of samples
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — all provided by Pace®)
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required
