Pay Range:
- Base pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year (salary based)

DNI (Delaware Nation Industries) is a prime contractor providing systems and application support for the Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency (DCSA). This role can be supported nationally.
Responsibilities
- Provide application support for Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and governmental write‑on‑site (MP) software running on Linux servers in the BIES environment on a 24x7x365 basis.
- Administer user accounts and control functions of the information system/network.
- Support code deployments and updates; provide technical support and troubleshooting.
- Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours and weekend support, including Sunday morning maintenance windows.
- Attend meetings with DCSA personnel, DBAs, and development teams to review scheduled releases and testing cycles.
- Write and submit change requests (CRs) to schedule changes to the application environment.
- Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure maintenance plans do not conflict with scheduled changes.
Installation Support
- Install and configure COTS and GOTS software.
- Deploy custom software and debug deployment issues.
- Determine host system requirements and map them to application topology.
- Select suitable application editions and install options.
- Provide application administration services and maintain GOTS revisions and distributions.
- Plan and implement installations and upgrades.
Maintenance Support
- Support maintenance activities, improve performance with available tools, and verify that only valid processes are running.
- Optimize application functionality, diagnose, and recover failed applications.
- Maintain application integrity, performance, and availability.
Monitoring Support
- Monitor performance during core hours and take proactive measures to prevent service disruption.
- Respond to after‑hours calls for outages and major system degradations as defined by the Program Management Office.
Web Administration Support
- Support web administration activities in a Windows Server environment, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of web applications.
- Identify problems, gather details, eliminate variables, reproduce issues, and develop hypotheses of root cause.
Repair Support
- Support repair activities; document repairs and manage back‑out coding and patching changes.
- Apply patches/code fixes and assist supporting system administrators, DBAs, and developers with errors/issues.
- Provide application security administration support, applying STIG guidelines and developing procedures to respond to new threats.
- Ensure rigorous application of information security and information assurance policies.
Restoration Support
- Plan and execute application restoration for emergency and routine restoration requests.
- Lead or participate in troubleshooting initiatives to determine incident root causes and develop work‑arounds.
- Develop and implement system operations restoration plans with step‑by‑step details.
Employment period: Temporary role from September 2025 to July 2026.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant Linux application administration experience.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
