Seeking an Intermediate Linux System Administrator to support the administration and maintenance of an operational Cross Domain Solution (CDS) environment. Responsibilities include routine monitoring and maintenance of systems, implementation of updates and tasking requirements, and providing break/fix support as needed to maintain operational availability.
This position includes an expectation of occasional after-hours or weekend support in the event of critical system issues. This is not a 24/7 on-call requirement. Availability and planned absences can be coordinated with program leadership. Historical after-hours support requirements have averaged approximately four hours per month.
Note: Direct CDS administration experience is preferred but not required. Specialized training will be provided to support administration and maintenance of the CDS environment and associated procedures.
