Job summary

The New School is seeking a Temporary International Student Advisor to support international students through advising, immigration processing and compliance activities. The role is based in New York City and reports to the Senior Advisor for International Students and Scholars.

You will maintain accurate records, process requests in institutional and government systems, and guide students on immigration regulations and status requirements as a Designated School Official (DSO).

OVERVIEW The Temporary International Student Advisor for International Student and Scholar Services at The New School supports international students through advising, immigration processing, and compliance activities. This role reports to the Senior Advisor for International Students and Scholars and works primarily in person in New York City. The position focuses on maintaining accurate student records, processing requests through institutional and government systems, and helping students understand immigration regulations and status requirements.
