A leading company is seeking a Temporary UAW Instrumentation & Electronics Technician to support electronic test instrumentation at their testing facilities. The role involves troubleshooting, repair, and calibration tasks, requiring a strong background in electronics and teamwork skills. Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree and some experience in the field.
The Temporary UAW Instrumentation & Electronics Technician is primarily responsible for the repair, maintenance, and build-up of electronic test instrumentation associated with various vehicle testing facilities at the Stellantis Chelsea Proving Grounds.
This position offers exposure to a broad range of electronic troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and build activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, PLCs, industrial controls, and demonstrated troubleshooting skills. Additional duties may include general bench work such as building cable harnesses, circuit assembly, test instrumentation boxes, calibrating sensors and meters, and troubleshooting network/PC issues.
