Pacific University is seeking an HR Office Assistant to provide a range of administrative support to the HR team. This on-site role involves front-line customer service, data entry in multiple databases, and handling correspondence via face-to-face, phone, and email channels.
Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering inquiries, maintaining confidentiality of payroll/HR matters, processing employment verifications, posting jobs, onboarding staff, and filing HR documents.

Provides a range of administrative support functions for the HR Team. This is a front-line, front-facing position that performs various functions related to operations and customer service needs within Human Resources. Responsibilities include greeting customers; answering phones and emails, entering data into a variety of databases; providing communications and related correspondence internally and externally via face-to-face, phone, and electronic methods, event planning, and performing other duties as assigned.
Performs other related duties, projects, and initiatives as assigned.
The HR Office Assistant is responsible for the comprehensive management and smooth operation of the HR office and serves as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong commitment to confidentiality, and the ability to coordinate a variety of HR functions and projects effectively.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Required Minimums: High school education or equivalent.
Environment: On-site office environment located at the Forest Grove campus.
Schedule & Mobility: Project timelines and deliverables require flexible scheduling and frequent communication. Requires walking throughout campus areas.
