The Assistant Director for Career Services works with a team of fellow career advisors to provide exceptional career-related advising, programming and event support for Pacific students on the Stockton, Sacramento and San Francisco campuses, and for alumni. The Assistant Director will serve as a liaison between the Career Services office and various academic units and/or campus groups in an effort to enhance both the student experience and post-graduate outcomes. As further detailed below, their portfolio will encompass both career advising and employer relations to better serve the Pacific student and alumni communities.
This position serves as Campus Security Authority (CSA) as outlined by the Clery Act. CSAs have federally mandated responsibilities to report crimes that are reported them.

This is an in-person role, and the successful candidate must be willing to relocate within California, preferably within 25 miles of the Stockton Pacific campus.
Requires extended periods of sitting and repetitive hand/wrist motion while using computer keyboard and phone. Occasional standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping and reaching. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. May be exposed to outside environment for special events.
Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment. Work performed during standard business hours. May be required to work additional hours outside standard business hours and weekends to meet business needs. May require occasional evening or weekend hours to support department, division or University events. Some travel required including attending related conferences, travel to other campuses, and in developing partnerships with employers.
Valid driver's license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the University's fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University and its insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.
$70,304 per year. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
