Job summary

Good-Time-Design in San Diego is seeking a Temporary HR Coordinator to cover maternity leave across all San Diego Venues. The role reports to the Company HR/Risk Manager and focuses on hiring, compliance, risk management, payroll and benefits.

You will support venue management with recruiting, training, employee relations, workers’ compensation, insurance coordination, and all HR documentation to ensure adherence to laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in a human resources role.
• College degree required.
• SHRM or similar HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist venue management with hiring and development.
• Manage employment compliance and risk programs.
• Oversee wage & hour compliance and payroll matters.
• Handle employee and guest complaints in compliance with law.
• Coordinate insurance, benefits, and payroll processes.
• Set up new venues and maintain payroll records.
