Job summary

Pine Street Inn is seeking a Temporary Housing Case Manager in Boston, MA, for a 3-month assignment. The position is on-site, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, at 35 Tuttle Street, Dorchester, and other Permanent Housing sites.

The role supports intensive case management for homeless individuals using a Housing First approach, focusing on benefits, health care, education, employment, and legal aid while maintaining documentation and service plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Undergraduate degree preferred (e.g. social work, psychology).
• Bi-lingual – Spanish/English preferred.
• Experience with homeless services, substance use, trauma or mental illness is valued.

Responsibilities

• Assists tenants with program documentation and benefits applications.
• Aids tenants in obtaining health care, education, and employment opportunities, and legal aid.
• Supports development of activities of daily living skills and creates individual service plans.
• Maintains all necessary documentation and service records.
