Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center seeks a Temporary Distribution Clerk to support the Supply Chain Distribution & Mail Services team on the Buffalo campus. The Clerk will receive, inspect, and deliver incoming materials and pharmaceuticals, and will ship packages with required paperwork through FedEx, UPS and other carriers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Approximately 1 year of full-time experience in distribution/shipping/receiving or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and deliver incoming materials, supplies, equipment and pharmaceuticals.
• Ship out packages with proper paperwork via Federal Express, UPS and other freight carriers.
• Maintain storeroom inventories and rotate stock to ensure patient safety; remove expired items.
• Deliver medical supplies to patient care areas; post mail and sort/deliver internal mail.
• Document UPS/FedEx shipments and vendor packing lists.
