Kwik Trip, Inc. seeks a Temporary Part-Time Inclusion Coordinator to provide Hmong translation and interpretation services, supporting HR and inclusion efforts across the organization.

The role collaborates with Inclusion Team members and leaders to foster belonging and accessibility for Hmong-speaking coworkers, handling translations, language access materials, and reporting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate written and verbal Hmong/English translations and interpretations for HR, safety, training, benefits, and workplace communications.
• Serve as a resource for coworkers needing translation and interpretation support, including phone calls and email communication.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Hmong-speaking coworkers through regular outreach and presence on the production floor.
• Assist with language support cases and maintain translated documents, training materials, signage, and other language access initiatives.
• Partner with leaders and business partners to support language access initiatives and coworker communication needs.
• Collaborate with Inclusion coordinators and Talent Operations leaders to identify language accessibility gaps and suggest improvements.
• Help maintain translated resources and language-access materials for accuracy and accessibility.
• Use feedback and data to suggest enhancements to Inclusion programs and case management processes.
• Support inclusion and engagement programs by assisting in planning and implementation of initiatives.
• Assist in cultural awareness activities, coworker events, and Community outreach opportunities.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project updates related to language support and inclusion efforts.
• Work in varied temperature conditions and be available for limited travel as needed.

Temporary Part-Time Inclusion Coordinator – Hmong Language Support

Position Summary:

This position supports Human Resources by providing Hmong translation and interpretation services, assisting coworkers with language support needs, and contributing to inclusion and engagement initiatives across the organization. This role works closely with Inclusion Team members, leaders, and coworkers to foster a culture of belonging and accessibility for Hmong speaking coworkers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Remove language barriers for Hmong-speaking coworkers by providing accurate written and verbal Hmong/English translations and interpretations for HR, safety, training, benefits, and workplace communications.
• Serve as a resource for coworkers needing translation, interpretation support, including making phone calls and communication through email as needed.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with Hmong-speaking coworkers through regular outreach, production floor presence, and ongoing communication.
• Assist with language support cases and help maintain translated documents, training materials, signage, and other language access initiatives.
• Partner with leaders and business partners across the organization to support language access initiatives and coworker communication needs.
• Work closely with Inclusion coordinators and Talent Operations leaders to identify language accessibility gaps and recommend improvements.

Work Schedule:

This is a temporary part-time position that is set to last 1 year with the potential for extension. This role primarily supports production operations.

• Preferred availability during second-shift hours to align with coworker support needs.
• Anticipated schedule of 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM or 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
• Additional hours may be available based on business needs.
• Limited travel between facilities may be required.
