Job summary

UPMC Health Plan is seeking a Temporary HEDIS data abstraction specialist for the Quality Improvement team. The role is remote, with an approximate four-month duration and standard weekday hours, supporting the HEDIS program through data collection and medical record abstraction.

Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience in this department, and you will use EMR systems and project-specific documentation software to record findings and ensure timely, accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience with HEDIS data collection or medical record abstraction is a plus.
• Preference given to candidates with prior experience in the Health Plan Improvement/Quality department.
• Ability to work remotely on a daytime schedule, Monday–Friday.

UPMC Health Plan has an exciting opportunity for a Temporary HEDIS position in the Quality Improvement department. This is a temporary position working Monday through Friday daylight hours and will be a remote position. This temporary position is scheduled for approximately four months. In this role, you will participate in the Health Plan Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) program, including data collection and medical record abstraction. Preference will be given to those with prior experience working within this department.
