Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Grocery Department Manager to lead the Grocery Department daily, ensuring in-stock conditions, pricing accuracy, and strong merchandising standards. You will drive sales, profitability, and customer service in a fast-paced store setting.

You will hire and train associates, manage planograms and promotions, and maintain safety and operational standards while mentoring a collaborative team and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

• Ensure shelves, displays, and aisles are clean, full, front-faced, and merchandised to company standards
• Execute planograms, promotional sets, seasonal transitions, and weekly ad merchandising
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, product rotation, and backroom organization
• Monitor shrink and implement procedures to reduce waste and loss
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and operational standards
• Hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop grocery associates while fostering a positive team environment
