Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Grocery Department Manager to lead the Grocery Department with a focus on excellent customer service, merchandising execution, and strong daily operations. You will drive in‑stock conditions, pricing accuracy, and a high standard of merchandising while guiding a team of associates in a fast-paced store environment.

You will oversee planograms, promotions, inventory control, and safety compliance, while coaching staff and ensuring an outstanding shopping

Qualifications

• Oversee daily operations of the Grocery Department with a focus on customer service and readiness.
• Provide friendly, prompt service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Maintain shelves, displays, and pricing to company standards.
• Execute planograms, promotional sets, seasonal transitions, and weekly ad merchandising.
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, product rotation, and backroom organization.
• Monitor shrink and implement procedures to reduce waste and loss.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and operational standards.
• Hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop grocery associates while fostering a positive team environment.
