Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is seeking a General Laborer for a packaging facility in Hutchinson, MN. You will rotate across production areas, handle materials, assist with machines, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment in line with OSHA standards.

This entry-level role offers weekly pay, benefits options through Benefits in a Card, and a temporary 2-3 month assignment with a day shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

Qualifications

• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to stand and move throughout the shift.
• Willingness to learn production processes.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between production departments to support daily operational needs.
• Perform general labor duties including material handling, packing, labeling, and assembling products.
• Feed machines and assist with production processes as needed.
• Assist with line setup, cleanup, and changeovers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following OSHA standards.
• Follow quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Complete production documentation and communicate effectively with team members.
