Basic Purpose
This position is responsible for the daily food preparation for cadets attending Thunderbird Challenge Program of three meals per day, seven days per week. This includes maintaining clean and sanitary work, preparation and serving areas.
Compensation: $16.34 hourly
This is the basic level of this job family where employees are assigned simple and routine duties of handling, preparing and serving food. Tasks include preparing toast, tea, and coffee, and maintaining the cleanliness of the food service area.
Minimum of six (6) months in a commercial or institutional food service operation or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to carry out routine tasks to completion; follow oral and written instructions; establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Licenses/Certificates required: Valid Oklahoma Driver’s license and ability to obtain a Food handler’s permit.
