Oklahoma Insurance Department seeks a Temporary - Part time professional to assist under the Chief Financial Examiner. You will participate in the examination process, ensure compliance with Oklahoma statutes, and help oversee budgets and contractor invoices.

Responsibilities include generating lead sheets, creating examination orders, tracking budgets, and compiling status reports. A Bachelor's program in related fields is preferred, with background checks and potential NAIC designation pursuit.

Qualifications

• Applicants enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Insurance, Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management or Actuarial Science.
• Background check required and NAIC designations may be pursued as job duties require.
• State of Oklahoma employment rules apply regarding relatives and financial interests.

Responsibilities

• Generate lead sheet requests and verify responses for funeral home trust owners.
• Create and provide examination orders to the assigned examiner.
• Maintain approved examination budgets and ensure invoiced rates align with notices.
• Track timely submission of status reports from contract examiners.
• Review and summarize reports on ongoing examinations.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
