Job summary

The Maricopa County Democratic Party is seeking temporary Field Organizers to help elect state and local positions on the ballot. You will recruit, train, and manage volunteers and support the county-wide organizing program under the Regional Political Director.

Ideal candidates will have campaign or community organizing experience, strong Google Workspace skills, and the ability to work weekends. Spanish language skills are preferred for outreach and events across the county.

Qualifications

• At least 1 election cycle (or 1 year) of organizing or outreach experience—campaigns, local groups, or customer service.
• Experience recruiting, training, and managing volunteers.
• Proficient with Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Drive).
• Strong organizational skills and eye for detail; can juggle tasks without dropping them.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently per field plan.

Responsibilities

• Develop a pipeline to source, recruit, train, and manage volunteers.
• Attend local events with candidates, county party, and organizations to recruit volunteers.
• Build a strong, supportive team culture and meet weekly metrics set by leadership.
• Must have reliable transportation and be available on weekends and evenings.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
