Prefer candidate to have interest in vegetable production or horticulture. Most activities are field-related. Duties include:
Candidate should be able to work within a group setting as well as individually. Candidate must be flexible with their schedule and willing to perform manual labor daily. Working conditions are often hot and humid.
Monday-Friday, 6am-6pm is the general range of hours. Start and end times will depend on daily travel and tasks to be completed (aim is for 40-45 hours per week, with some overtime expected during the peak season, 50-55 hours). This full-time work schedule would begin in earnest in late April or May. We would also like to have some employees start as early as March, part-time.
