Job summary

bci in Pittsburgh is seeking a detail-oriented cleaning professional to perform a variety of cleaning duties across assigned areas. You will dust, wipe, vacuum, mop floors, and assist with floor care including stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, stocking supplies, emptying trash, and reporting maintenance issues. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must have a general working knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods.
• Must have a working knowledge of the operation of cleaning equipment.
• Must be able to work well alone or as part of a team.
• Must be able to perform the essential requirements of the job as outlined in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Dust, damp wipe, vacuum, sweep/mop floors, and clean fixtures in assigned areas.
• Strip, wax and buff floors using floor buffing equipment.
• Maintain cleaning equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain an adequate stock of cleaning supplies and keep storage area clean.
• Empty and clean trash cans as needed.
• Report maintenance issues observed during duties.
