iCare Health Network - Touchpoints at Bloomfield is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Assistant to assist the Maintenance Director with building projects and day-to-day upkeep at our healthcare facility.

The role covers routine maintenance, interior/exterior cleaning, safety compliance, and coordination with contracted vendors. Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry is a plus; flexibility to work outside normal hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems is a plus
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift heavy equipment
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance manuals
• Team player with ability to follow supervisor instructions
• May require work outside normal hours

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance duties including painting and basic repairs
• Maintain interior and exterior areas and equipment
• Complete administrative duties such as filling forms and reporting maintenance statuses
• Comply with safety and health regulations
• Keep inventory of maintenance supplies and report needs to supervisor
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
• Work with contracted vendors and manage relationships
