Job summary

Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College is seeking a dedicated custodian to perform daily cleaning, grounds maintenance, and building setup tasks on site. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, grass cutting, edging, and moving tables and chairs for events, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role may involve outdoor work and requires experience in custodial or housekeeping tasks; knowledge of cleaning and safety practices is preferred to maintain a clean, safe campus

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial, housekeeping, or pest control work that is directly related to the area of employment.
• Knowledge and experience of effective cleaning & safety practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Domestic cleaning to include sweeping, mopping and trash removal.
• Grounds maintenance to include grass cutting, weed control, edging and trimming.
• Building set-ups to include moving furniture and setting up and moving tables and chairs.
