NC State University — University Theatre is seeking to fill a Temporary Event Technician Pool to support backstage and Front-of-House operations for campus events and performances. This role collaborates with Operations, and Technical Directors to ensure safe, engaging theatre experiences for rental clients and audiences.
The position requires flexibility to work nights and weekends, with responsibilities including lighting and sound setup, load-in/load-out, and supervision of ushers.

University Theatre is the campus’ open access community theatre and operates multiple facilities: Stewart Theatre, in the Talley Student Center, and the Titmus Theatre and Kennedy McIlwee Studio Theatre, along with the associated shops and classroom spaces for producing theatre.

Event Technician will assist Operations and Event Coordinator, Technical and Assistant Technical Directors in day to day operations of University Theatre venues in support of campus events, rental clients and University Theatre performances as required.
