Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Temporary Equipment Operator to support our Navitor printing operations in the United States. The role involves preparing and operating printing equipment, maintaining machinery, and ensuring color accuracy and quality throughout production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing equipment per job specs and quality standards.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper type, size, color, and quantity.
• Check plates for correct format and alignment.
• Visually inspect forms throughout the run for quality.
• Coordinate with Production Team to prioritize jobs and meet deadlines.

Your Opportunity:

Navitor is looking for a Temporary Equipment Operator.

Work Authorization:

To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate printing equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper for correct type, size, color, and quantity.
• Check plates for correct format.
• Visually inspect forms throughout the run for quality.
• Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs and reorganize work as needed to meet deadline changes and updates.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements for the job and equipment.

Your Shift:

Monday - Friday | 6:00am - 2:30pm

You Must Have:

• Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
• High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• High degree of mechanical ability.
• Good reading ability.

Requirements within this position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
• Frequently required to move inside the facility.
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying.

• Ability to work with very close tolerances.
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
• High degree of analytical skills.
• Good color discernment.
