Job summary

Bridgeport Elementary School in Tualatin, Oregon, seeks a Temporary Elementary Learning Specialist for a .5 FTE position. The role reports to the Building Principal and supports students with disabilities under a 190-day calendar through approximately March 19, 2026.

The incumbent will administer tests, design instructional programs, conduct evaluations, and collaborate with staff and families to meet IEP goals and district standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with mentoring or cognitive coaching is preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse students and staff.
• Knowledge of instructional strategies and current education theory.
• Strong communication with parents and staff.
• Ability to conduct conferences and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administer criterion-referenced tests for daily tracking or programming.
• Design/implement educational programs meeting state and federal requirements.
• Conduct evaluations and participate in eligibility decisions.
• Develop behavioral and disciplinary programs as needed.
• Coordinate and monitor student programs with staff and admins.
• Maintain IEP data, goals, and confidential files.
