Job summary

CSP in Salisbury, NC is seeking a TEMPORARY EHS Supervisor to support our environmental, health, and safety program for about six months. Under the EHS Manager, you will help ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and implement corporate EHS policies in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include hazard evaluation, incident investigations, training, maintaining records, coordinating environmental programs, and supporting safety committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, safety, or health-related field.
• 3+ years EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Extensive EPA regulatory knowledge.
• Strong OSHA and environmental regulation knowledge.
• Familiarity with Workers’ Comp, FMLA and HIPAA assets.
• Customer-service orientation; strong written/verbal communication.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes, evaluates, and makes recommendations for the control of potential workplace hazards in industrial hygiene and safety.
• Guides maintenance, engineering, production, purchasing and shipping teams.
• Investigates Health & Safety complaints and recommends solutions promptly.
• Supports environmental programs including hazardous waste, storm water, wastewater, and air reporting.
• Maintains H&S policies, document control, and training for new hires and specific programs.
• Plans and conducts plant safety inspections with the Safety Committee.
