You will support the publication and promotion of our flagship podcast and help develop new projects, including a national public-opinion poll and a documentary.

Job description

Are you super organized and deadline-driven, ideally with some experience or interest in editorial? It is likely that we'll be hiring a Temporary Editorial Operations Coordinator in the coming weeks, for 18-20 hours/week, at $35/hour.

This would be a hybrid position based in Evanston, Ill. Some work can be completed remotely, but ideally the individual is available for regular in-person work as well.

The coordinator will support the publication and promotion of our flagship podcast, as well as the development and launch of new projects, including a national public-opinion poll and a documentary.

Serving as both a project coordinator and editorial assistant, this role will be responsible for:

• uploading podcast episodes across content management systems
• assembling episode materials and communicating with guests and distribution partners
• conducting final quality-control checks
• supporting production and marketing logistics for all public-media projects
• performing a range of other editorial or operational duties
